The Housing Authority of the County of Venango helps pay a portion of  rent for lower income families, elderly and persons with disabilities so that they can reside in a decent, safe and sanitary home.  The following are the programs in effect:

                                    Housing Choice Voucher Program 

       You can make a choice of a house, apartment, or mobile homes located anywhere in the jurisdiction of Venango County except within the city limits of Oil City and Franklin.  Those two cities have their own Housing Authority's.  

                                                    Cherry Hill Apartments

       Is a 20 Unit Complex located in a country setting off of Rockwood Avenue, Cornplanter Township, Oil City, Pennsylvania 16301.  These are 3 & 4 bedroom townhouse units.   Included in the tenant's rent is the water, sewerage, trash, range, refrigerator and laundry hook-ups.
